Pangora.Space (“we”, “us”, “the Platform”) is an AI-powered deliberative democracy simulation platform currently in beta. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data.
By using Pangora.Space, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are

3. Sensitive Personal Information
The Personal Agent feature processes data that may reveal your political opinions, philosophical beliefs, and related normative orientations. This is considered sensitive personal information under applicable data protection laws.
We process this data only with your explicit consent, which we collect before you create a Personal Agent. You may withdraw this consent at any time, which will result in the deletion of your Personal Agent and its associated value model.

5. Data Sharing and International Transfers
Pangora.Space uses multiple AI model providers to power deliberation. When your Personal Agent participates in a deliberation, summarised value data may be included in prompts sent to these providers. We minimise the data transmitted and do not send raw questionnaire responses where a summarised value vector is sufficient.

Where your data is transferred to providers in other countries, we take appropriate steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including contractual safeguards with each provider.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention

7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — correct inaccurate personal data
- Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to certain types of processing, including profiling
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal

8. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your data at any time via the Platform or by emailing zactheaipm@gmail.com.
Deliberation transcripts are append-only records maintained for transparency. Upon account deletion, your contributions to deliberations will be anonymised (your identity removed) but the content of the deliberation record will be retained.
9. Children
Pangora.Space is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that data promptly. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at zactheaipm@gmail.com.
10. Automated Profiling
The Personal Agent feature uses automated profiling to infer your value orientations from questionnaire responses. This profiling determines how your Personal Agent participates in deliberations on your behalf.
You have the right to:
- Contest the inferred value model through override actions and calibration events
- Request human review of any profiling outcome
- Delete your Personal Agent and all associated profiling data at any time
Your Personal Agent’s fidelity score is computed from statistical measures of model confidence and recency — it is never self-reported. You may override any deliberation outcome your agent has contributed to, and these overrides directly update the value model.
12. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including:
- Encryption in transit — all data is transmitted over TLS
- Encryption at rest — database-level encryption for all stored data
- Field-level encryption — personally identifiable information such as email addresses is encrypted at the field level
- Access controls — principle of least privilege for all internal access
- Audit logging — security-relevant events are logged and retained for 90 days
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email (if you have an account) or by a prominent notice on the Platform before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
